Autopsy Pending in Corona Motorcycle Fatality

42-Year-Old Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash

An autopsy is pending Tuesday on a 42-year-old man killed in a motorcycle crash in Corona. The Corona Police Department has not yet released the man's name.

The crash occurred at approximately 11:30 p.m. Friday night at the intersection of Rimpau Avenue and Monterey Avenue. Police say the motorcyclist was traveling westbound on Rimpau Avenue when he collided with an eastbound pickup truck driven by a 26-year-old man.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck was not injured.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
